Generalized anxiety disorder?

Question:
Has anyone suffered with this and can you get better? I have suffered with it for years and it is driving me crazy.I just constantly worry about things that might happen.E.g. I worry about a little cleaning job I have,I think everything I do is not good enough and the boss will get really annoyed with me and sack me,although the company closed down and then opened back up he asked for me to come back i could'nt at the time so he got somone else and he was'nt happy with them and asked me again when my son went to full time school. But when someone said that so silly to worry about that ,i think its not but deep down i know it must be,i just think everyone should worry about things like that.Basically the worry is from the time i wak up until i go to bed.Is there any who can relate to me and tell me how they got better, please only serious answers.

I suffered from it for about 5-6 yrs and I thought I could never get better. It was horrible, always feeling like I was going to die. I got to the point I was getting afraid to leave the house, although I did force myself to go. Although I found ways to 'get by' I had pretty much accepted that I would never been right in my mind again. Then I found a technique called EFT which is an accupressure thing you can do on yourself. I tell everybody right up front that it looks totally stupid, and the first time you do it, you feel ridiculous... and then you get the relief and realize it doesn't matter how dumb it looks. I am teaching the technique to others with almost 100% success so far, and many thousands of people have used it to at least take the edge off, if not totally get healthy like I have. In fact, I am way more relaxed and non-anxious than I was before I ever got the anxiety problem to start with. You can download the instructions free at the site I list, or you can certainly contact me and I would be happy to help you. Also, I have a yahoo group I just started up to discuss the subject called FDAAgroup (Fearless, a drugfree approach to anxiety) Also, look at EFT on YouTube and you can see people doing the technique. It does appear strange, but I am living proof that it absolutely can work.
i can understnad what your going through. i have anxiety. mine is getting worse though to the point where i dont want to go out just incase something happens - that is why im mostly on the internet cuz i just cant face going out unless i have to then i do what i have to do and do it quickly. everyone says im a freak and i probably am. you are not alone, but it stems from self confidence i think and that you have to convince yourself that nothing is going to go wrong and nothing is going to happen. i bet because of your anxiety you do the best job your boss could want from an employee, try to take each job at a time, and try to relax. You csan get better so i have been told but you have to get worse to get better like most things so im told so i should be going on the up soon hmmmmm. anyway, you sound like a really cool person, and you will get over the anxiety with time and councelling. You are good enough just you need to see it for yourself. Keep cleaning :)
Take care
