So i just started dating this girl and finally ready and steady with work in my life etc.. Im sure 8 years of porn kinda distorted my view (sense i been 12, yes i know) but i have one problem, i totally love her personality we like EVERYTHING and have so so so much in common, but coming from being a porn addict (well sorta, about 4 times a week) i think its distorted my view a bit. well i dont think i guess i know..

Im not grade "A" guy either does anyone know of any help out there for this type of thing? How to get over it, i mean shes still beautiful..but just not a porn star...(sounds lame LOL)

Looking at porn four times a week is pretty normal. Most guys your age masturbate at least twice a day and porn is a sex toy. What's wrong with you is not a 'porn addiction', it's that you have unrealistic expectations. Don't blame the porn for that. It's not like you spend an excessive time looking at pornography.

Realize that porn is a fantasy and it is meant to be ridiculously fake. Look around you, do you see a lot of women that look like porn stars? Maybe one or two that probably do work in the sex industry, but most women look nothing like that.

Spend some time people watching. Go to your local mall and sit on a bench and just check out what real people look like, both men and women. Most of them are ugly right? Yep. That's realistic expectations. Some of them are somewhat attractive and others are just beautiful, but not porn star plastic beauty eh? Realistic expectations.

Equate porn and the sex that happens in porn to a giant plastic purple dildo. Over the top and ridiculous.
