Call a crises line Maybe a few times seeing a counselor will help.
You are NOT DUMB!! You are able to write too well.
It will help if you can take a look at what you want in your life. Let the smart part of you speak - don't let your depression control you.
Your life needs a major overhaul - you are correct in that. Get some help from a support group. Contact a local college and look at their degree programs. You'll be surprised at the financial and educational help you can get to succeed now. Do give up. Also, just take the phone off the hook at night so that you can sleep. Hey, if he threatens you, call the police.
i feel the same way, except the bf part. i quit my job and im thinking of becoming a cop. seems like an easy job and with overtime you can make good money. of course i wont be able to smoke weed anymore. just get a new bf or friend and youll probably feel like not cutting your wrists.
PLEASE DON'T DO ANYTHING YOU WILL REGRET! If you need to talk to someone you can always e-mail me and i will be happy to help you.
Look I don't know how old you are but you can do anything you want to do with your life. I'm only 17 and clinically depressed I have tried killing myself several times, ITS NOT WORTH IT. And even thinking about it is selfish. If you have friends imagine what they would go through if you died, wut about your mother!? you've got to stay true to yourself. Do you honestly think your as stupid as you say you are? But whatever, if your so bent on suicide, hang yourself, there is no mess to clean up and you passout after the first 5 or so seconds.
Your never to old to learn something new in life, find a interest or hobby. Find a new BF, just do something that's makes you smile and go with the happy thoughts.
Life is short enough as it is, so move on to other things and get HAPPY FEET the movie, put on a smile and pass it on. :-)
PEACE
Well sometimes I don't know which way to turn either.
If you feel trapped in a job you are working yourself up to a panic attack.
Welders are in great demand. And it requires a lot of skill. A lot more that most people realize. You have to be able to weld with an uncomfortable mask over your head and still be able to see the bead under your welder. And the bead has to be exactly the right size, set at the right depth and with the right heat and oxygen mix.
I know because I worked in a Custom metal shop supervising technicians who wrote the machine software.
Now that we have established what your skills are.
Go home tonight and write down all you skills, all you abilities and assets.
Look up the requirements for various careers and match them against your skills list.
Now think about what you really want to do. Because if you choose wisely, you know that if you really want something badly enough, you will do absolutely everything to get it.
So now go do it.
And, about the anxiety or depression or whatever it is you are focusing on right now, it'll disappear just as soon as you take action to plan for the rest of you life.

Pleeeeeeeease hang in there, sweetheart! It's so easy to sort - just ring your doctor and tell him you're going through a really rough patch and feeling low. I promise it's only temporary! Treat it like the flu and just give yourself a nice break and take care of yourself. There's lots of us sensitive ladies out there and there's no shame in feeling down, it's just a sign you need to look after YOU! As for the psycho ex, threaten him with the cops, or a big friend!! What a jerk, don't let him be your problem, he's not. Good luck, honey, it's going to get better.
What you are expressing to us is Very Serious. Please call your local crisis line immediately. They can help you make a temporary plan for coping and guide you to other resources that can help you.
Hi, sorry to hear you are feeling so bad. You need to speak to a doctor asap. Go to an emergency room if necessary. There is a lot you can do to help yourself though - the following steps will eliminate (or at least significantly reduce) your panic attacks and help with your negative thoughts:
1.Breathe properly - if you control your breathing, you control panic. As soon as you notice the signs of anxiety, check your breathing: breathe in slowly through your nose pushing your tummy out (to the count of 5 or so). Breathe out slowly and for a bit longer (to the count of 7 or so) through your mouth. Do not breathe rapidly or shallowly (in the chest area). This will soon restore the balance of oxygen and you will feel a lot better.
2. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy! CBT is proven to be the most effective thing for panic attacks, stress and anxiety etc. It takes a bit of work, but it is super effective. (After 15 years of panic attacks, mine stopped completely). You can speak to your doctor about taking a course or you can take a course for free online at: www.livinglifetothefull.com
3. Try relaxation exercise tapes (progressive muscular relaxation). They really help if you practise often enough. You can get free downloads online, e.g. http://www.studentservices.utas.edu.au/c...
With each step practise makes perfect. (i.e. practise the steps every day, not just when you are feeling bad). I hope you feel better soon. Best of luck!
