If you are in the habit of thinking negative all the time it is a hard habit to break. But mainly try to think of something good in every situation. This something I have been working on myself and it has helped a lot with frustrations. Just try not to let bad things get to you. Find something good that's happening and think about that more.
Well, it takes a lot of practice. Start with small things and then work up to larger ones. God bless you, everything will be alright!

empty your mind of all thoughts and concentrate only on your breathing.

allow your self only one single thought, just think about how amazing it is that your alive and breathing and that you understand that you are.

think about how many people are now not alive, think about how random it is that there is life on earth at all! think about how amazing it is that life even exists at all, think about how amazing it is to be a part of life.

if you can do this, than everything, every single thing, beyond that single thought is a bonus.

BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM ALIVE.

this is the time for you to realize that there is always something negative visible ok? just dont think about it hear some music share you r toughts with a best friend and to forget it try to enjoy some sleeep it helps to forget things if the depression is due to mental tensions and personal problems or if you are lonely i am gonna ask you a very silly question...have you ever tried to know why you are where you are and do u like it here or not

Talk to your brain/mind. Tell it out loud what you will accept and not accept from it. An example; "be well my mind, be well my soul, be well my body, be well my spirit", or "Listen here my head, you will think positive and not think negative. Negative thoughts are not welcome and must stop and must go away". Read The New Testament.

there is a new book taking the world by storm its called "the secret" this book talks about the law of attraction. you can have anything you want in life by thinking strong positive thoughts. not only this but you will always be happy
have patiences in urself,think and do.
To think positive, one should first of all change it attitude and perspective ways of seeing thing. Whatever or whenever we face with issue, there is always 2 side of a coins to view thing. To be positive, stay calm, take a depth breath and always tell our self the positive thing and remind our self to look for opportunity in ever issue.
Try to collect those words of wisdom as self reminder. it might help.

Do not fear adverse outcomes. Try again and be confident. Day dreaming about nice things is not positive thinking. Action coupled with knowledge and confidence that you are doing the right thing and hence positive results will ensue, is positive thinking.
I know it feels as though you are going crazy, but rest assured it happens as a result of being over stressed and anxious, ive been going through the same, there is HELP.
Firstly dont allow your mind to control you,you have control over your own mind.

Lets do a mind exercise together, when a negative thought enters, think a positive thought quickly, immediately you know you are in control of your thinking. These thoughts can be caused by an imbalance in your body nothing serious so go to a doctor. Love yourself remember we are incharge of our own destiny, everyone thinks crazy thoughts its how we deal with it that counts.

Dont let your thoughts get to you or change you, Forgive yourself for your negative thoughts the fact that you dont like these thoughts shows your character. We all have good and bad within, life is about decisions. Listen to your heart and not your mind.

The word positive has a wonderful feeling in life. Start believing in yourself which will in turn initiate that positive energy in you. It takes a bit of concerted effort from you to believe in yourself as you currently don't do that.

Start with doing things which are easy for you to complete and gradually grow and expand your work. This will help alot in building your confidence which is the main ingredient for being positive.

Nevermind yaar! Even i'm a negative thinker.Be cool n think whatever comes to ur mind but do not always express it. Express only the good things that come to ur mind.

Try it and slowly ur be recognised as a +tive thinker.
whenever u encounter situation that seems to make u feel negative say a word to urself that builds ur confidence thats it be cool..
take the good not the bad points in every thing u see or do
