Sleeping problem past week?
Question:
Any answers will be appreciated, thanks.
Answers:
Well, I have always found that the problem is interrelated, when I have lots on my mind and am feeling depressed, I can't sleep, but the more I can't sleep, the more depressed I feel. Sleep is your body and your brain's chance to recharge.
If it continues you might need to talk to your doctor, but you need to relax your mind and get some rest. I think it would be okay to use some sleeping pills one night and get that rest, I bet your overall mood would be a lot better the next day. But for a long term fix, you really need to get to the bottom of your depressed mood and also learn how to cut your brain off at night. Get lost in a good book, play a game, anything to get your mind off of worries, right before bed. During the day, wear yourself out by getting extra exercise and staying active. I think you will see that will help your mood also. I hope I have helped, these are just things that have worked for me when I have been in the same situation. I wish you the best!
Yes. Depression or ANY unresolved thought will keep you from sleeping. You will probably start losing weight also. I recommend (as someone who has been there) communication. Talk to someone about what is bothering you. It can even be anonomous, but get some ideas from the outside world on your worries. You will be surprised at how 'solveable' even the worst cases can be.
