Answers:
It is possible that you have a Mosaicism which is a very variable form of Down's. You seem as intelligent as a average human being from what I can tell, so it is very unlikely that you might have this.
i think you have to be born with it. but i may be wrong.
That is something you are born with not something you would have to ask.
you still have to ask the doctor. if you dont then you will still be stressing it. and it is not hard to make friends. eventually you have to talk. go to the doctor. dont stress it or nothing
I'm pretty sure if you had Down's you wouldn't be able to read, spell and think as well as you do, 'cause Down's is a form of mental retardation. You don't seem retarded to me, though you could have a learning disability or something else that caused you difficulty in school...

Why are you concerned about being Down's? Are you wanting things to be different in your life? Feeling like something is wrong? If you are, it might help to address those feelings directly. Tell your doctor what you're worried about and ask him (or her) if they think anything is wrong. Look for ways to make your life richer- a class, group, counselling, whatever you think might help.

Good luck!
Just post a picture. If you have down's syndrome, everyone will be able to tell by the way you look.

You don't need to have down's syndrome to be mentally retarded though. Although, from your question, you're probably not retarded, you may be a little slow; you know, average!
I really doubt you have Down syndrome, but there are lots of other possibilities. You could have another genetic problem - they can have features and problems similar to Down syndrome. You could have ADHD or a learning disability - that's my first guess. Or you could just be a normal person with low self-esteem or depression. My advice is don't look for the reason for your problems yet - look for help for the problems, and let a professional figure out the reason for them. See a counselor or psychologist or doctor.
