Has anyone been on the anti depressant cybalta?and has it helped? i have been on around 10 different ones?
Question:
Answer:
I was on cymbalta it was not working and I was still feeling down so I was changed to wellbutrin SR. Wellbutrin SR was getting me sick because I was not supposed to smoke, drink caffeine or even coffee. I think different medication works for different people. I started on zoloft, cymbalta, then Wellbutrin SR but nw because I was so sick I'm currently no taking anything and am changing doctors. Just be patient about medication because it will take awhile to work. Edna
It didnt work for me. I killed myself yesturday.
Wow, it sounds like you need to try alternative methods of treatment other than anti-depressants. Ask your doctor about getting away from this type of medication and research cognative, self-help therapy.
I am on it now. I dunno if its working. It makes me tired.
i was put on efexor for anti-depression and all it did was give me seizures at night. then they switched me to lexapro and it helped tremendously. hope this helps you. good luck. have you tried holistic or spiritual help. not the church but other spiritual help?
~I've tried every type of anti depressant out there, as of about 6 years ago and I've has some horrible side effects from them.
I've never tried Cymbalta, but I know of people that are on it and are happy with it.
I'm now taking Effexor XR along with a couple of benzodiazapines and Buspar. I don't know what OCD is.
Don't give up until you find the one that works for you. I know there are a lot of people who don't like Effexor, but it works for me! Every medication will affect everyone differently.
I wouldn't try any herbal crap, they aren't FDA approved and there's no way to determine if they will interact with another drug or what type of reaction you could have to them.
Hang in there, there are a lot more new medications out there now. I have a link for you below to read about Cymbalta.
Good luck.~
