there is a book called THE PILL BOOK. It shows pics of every pill and what it is. However, if you are legally taking this medication, it should say it on the label.

you can go to www.drugs.com and they have a pill identification tool. You can enter in the characteristics of the pill and figure out what it is, or just call poison control at 1-800-222-1222 and tell them that you are trying to identify a pill.
I don't know. Either go to a library to use their PDR(Physicians Desk Reference), or better still buy your own. Wikipedia and Epocrates.com are also good references.
Umm.. this may be a dumb question, but how exactly did you get this prescription without a drug name on the bottle?
Are there markings on the side of the pill, like a number or something? You can probably look that up on the internet and get your answer.
If you have not read the name on the bottle
you have no business taking that pill.
Call your local pharmacist. They will know just by the description.
