Yes, I believe its peaceful. It easier for me, personally, to accept the fact that I will one day die, if I imagine its a peaceful transition.
Depend on hows. If it's natural, I supposed you get tired and just "sleep." I am one of those people who doesn't think Death is the end. I believe present state-of-mind has a lot to do with eternity and if someone is a peaceful, serene person at the point of death, that will transcend.
it depends on how you die. Its peaceful for someone who has peace with themself and others. If you died, hating yourself, or someone else, then you can't rest in peace, because your soul is not at peace. If you wanna know, how i know about this, well lets just say that i have alot of wisdom & knowlege. If a person committe suicide, then why should that person rest in peace? that person dosn't deserve peace. When a person does a act of harm to themself, then that was obviouly a way out of a problem that would have passed over in due time. It doesn't matter what people think or say, i KNOW that God is real, and when a person harms themself, that insulting to God. So to conclude this answer, you shouldn't think about the spirit would if you don't have the proper knowlege, because you can make yourself go mentaly crazy, because of somany unanswered qeustions
