He probably has alot of things going on in his life. He might be depressed at how things went/are. The best way for you to assist him is to make him realise his problem. It is also important to make him "want to" resolve his issues. Once he does that, you and him can take part in activities you both enjoy and whenever he does get angry, ask him to calm himself and make him realise that there is no reason for him to get angry.

Tell him not to beat himself up about it Ha Ha {gad} tell him to put the anger to good use i.e. take up a phisical sport like boxing he can get rid of all the anger he want's in that sport. good luck!!
