What type of disorder is this?

Question:
when you have to call someone before you leave work so they can follow you home in their car.. when they tell you what you can wear.. when you can only go to the store when they go with you... when they think they are always right... my ex was like that.. but now that i am gone.. he watches our 21 yr old daughter through the window and it gives her the creeps..he tries to tell her and our other daughter what to wear..when our oldest was in college..before she quit he had people watching her in school.. just like he use to have me watched all the time..my daughter has a slight promblem with talking to her self.. i think it is because when we were all together he would never let her have friends.. he says there is no such thing as mental illness.. i think he has one.. but dont know what it is called

Ok so I asked my mom (who happens to know about this kind of stuff) said he is possessive and insecure. And definitely needs to see a shrink about it.

I'm guessing he has anger management issues and has a problem with wanting to control people, but I don't know a specific name for it. He needs counseling that's for sure.
obsessive compulsive disorder, but there seems to be more there that i just can't place.
Do you ever watch those drippy movies on Lifetime TV?
It is something too many men do and they are not going to give it a name because males are doing it. Men think we are property and want to control everything in our lives.
The only thing you can do is get your daughter away from him. And when she is dating watch out for the men she gets attached to. She'll end up with a guy just like her father and he will ruin her life.
This man is incurable and destructive to females in general.
You need to check out some sites on psychology but I'm not sure what you will find because again, our society does not like to deal with male mental illnesses. Most mental illness are attributed to women. We live in a male oriented society and they are very afraid to admit human frailty - but he sounds like a sociopath to what ever degree...
sounds like he has more than one issue; not to mention DENIAL...
Maybe a personality disorder. (People with a personality disorder rarely recognize it).
