Transexuals Disgust Me...?
Question:
The other day I saw a man walk past in pearls, high heels, a dress and a womans tight top. He was wearing make up to.
I just absolutly shivered and start laughing. It's ridiculous, I mean It's like some one dressing up as a cat and purring at people. It must be some mental disease that confuses the man. I dont know but I find it disturbing, pathetic and frankly obscene. Any views?

Does it bother you that you're disgusted by transexual persons? Evidently it does if you took the time to write this message and ask for the opinions of others. If it does bother you, are you willing to try and deal with it? Or are you just going to own this problem forever? The short and simple answer is, this is your problem and not anyone else's. If this feeling of disgust within yourself really bothers you and you want to change it, then there are things you can do. There's one thing you can be sure of - transexual persons aren't bothered in the least by your feelings of revulsion for them. So if you kind of enjoy having those feelings...rock on!
Its different i can say that...
but people like to choose their sexual preference. I admit I have laughed at a few trannies, but they do have psychological problems. Its not nice to laugh at them, I know that now because they should be treated like normal people.

Transexuality is defined as a mutual birth defect, meaning it is something that evidentially effects somebody without them having any choice in the matter what-so-ever. A transexual person feels as though they have been placed in the wrong body; nearly all transexual people admit to have feeling this way their entire life- and have to take expensive injections and go through even more expensive surgeries for their entire lives just to fix what was no fault of their own. Unfortunately, because the persons were born in the wrong body, sometimes it is very easy to detect a transexual person, very much like in the situation that you are explaining, but most of the time when you see a transexual person walking down the street, you wouldn't even think for a second about their gender; they blend in perfectly to the gender that they feel they should have been born in.
You also have to consider what that person was going through; she obviously identified as a woman enough to expose herself to such ridicule; I am pretty sure she isn't doing it for laughs or to disgust anybody.
I also want to make sure you know the difference between somebody who is transexual/transgender and a transvestite. A transgender is somebody who does NOT identifies as the gender they were born in to, and a transvestite is somebody who identifies with the body they were born in to, but likes to dress in the other genders clothing for entertainment or even arousal in private.
I am a lesbian and even I had my misconceptions about transexuality at one point; but if you have an open mind and are willing to learn you will certainly find out that they are not what you think they are. :)
Live and let live. As long as they're not hurting anyone - what the hell! I would imagine it would take a lot of guts for a man to go out in public dressed like that. He should be admired for his courage, not damned!
