Highs & Lows?

Question:
I go through periods where i feel normal, and then i get this i guess "anxiety". it used to be during the winter so i figured it was just seasonal depression. but i have it now. it usually lasts 2 or 3 months and i'll have issues with sleeping at night, thinking someone is going to die, people judging me, i hate driving in the nighttime. i turn into a nut and i know its not me but i would i rectify the situation? is there a name for it?

Answers:
Why would you feel silly going to a therapist? It sounds kind of like depression to me and it could be mental or it could be physical- you know hormone changes and stuff. If you won't got to a therapist you should at least go to a doctor and tell her your symptoms. Maybe she can run some tests to see if it's physiological.
Sounds like it could be BiPolar disorder. My boyfriend has the exact same issues. Check with your doctor and see if he or she can't prescribe mood stabilizers and anti-anxiety pills. A therapist can be recommended but it's your own personal decision to go see one. If you are into church try talking to a Chaplain.
See a doctor or therapist! You shouldn't feel silly, besides the only one that will know you're even seeing one is the people you tell! If you don't do soemthing about it now it may only get worse later!
