I have Racing thoughts?
Question:
I'm taking another day off from work , so no big deal.I already took my meds.Any ideas?
(kismit is missing, again)
Answers:
Just go with the flow, try not to do too much damage while you're racing.
i have this problem too from time to time..
most of the time what keeps them down is if i am busy.
going for a walk, being oh YouQA.com :P, reading, cleaning, anything.
find something that interests you that is slow paced (i.e. reading, meditating, writing) & focus your energy & concentration on that... try to block out the other thoughts & make a conscious effort to slow down the ones that come speeding through...
question, you mentioned "meds" - do you have bipolar disorder? if so, these racing thoughts are a symptoms of mania (which you may already know) be mindful of other symptoms that you may be entering a manic episode.
well , how about you adjust the tempo ? , or could you add some extra microchips to it to slow it's down ? .
if I remember right your bipolar? if so you need to get in touch with your doctor. you know the risks of having a manic episode so its best you talk with your doctor right away as your meds need to be sorted out. take care
that sounds kinda like me.
i bounce around from one idea to the next and never can stay with any one thought long enough to ever get anything accomplished. it's annoying as h*ll, let me tell you what.
oh wait.. i'm guessing you already know that, seeing as how you wrote this question.
i guess i don't have a good answer for you , but YAY on the day off from work! (you won't get in trouble for it, will you? )
