i started to gain weight after a few months of paxil. but, you can manage the weight gain with lots of exercise and good eating habits.
I have never heard of anyone gaining weight due to paxil. some of the side effects are yawning, decreased libido, urinary frequency, flatulence, vomiting, dyspepsia (heatburn, indigestion). You may want to talk to you doctor something else may be causing the weight gain.
my dads been taking paxil over a year, he started gaining weight about 2 months ago or so

but I'm not sure his extra pound have anything to do with the medicine, everything he its is full of calories and grease
im on it and dont think ive gained weight
I have been taking Paxil for 8 years, and I have never really had a problem with it. But it can cause weight gain. Both my brother-in-law and sister-in-law gained weight from it and had to change meds. My doctor even stated that it can cause weight gain.
