I'm scared?
Question:
Answers:
It's probably nothing. This happens to me once or twice a month. It's definitely scary, but kind of cool once you realize what it is.
If you are still worried, ask your doctor about it, and they will be able to tell you if it could be anything serious.
Stop reading those kinds of things... Your freaking yourself out unnecessarily!
That's not true. Sleep paralysis is something that happens to everyone. You're not sick, you're just like everyone else. Alzheimers disease (what you called "old timers"), is a genetic disease that doesn't have any symptoms appear usually until much later in life. If you had a brain tumor, you'd most likely have headaches everyday and seizures. As for HIV, sleep paralysis isn't a symptom. So just relax.
You have absolutely nothing to be scared about. That happens to many people and they don't have diseases or brain defects. If it's worrying you too much go see your GP, but honestly, you are panicking yourself over nothing. Simply clear it from your mind and get on with your life. There are better things to worry about.
You have nothing to be afraid of, trust me. Sleep paralysis occurs when rapidly awakening from REM or Rapid Eye Movement trance of sleep. It wares off as quickly as it came. Besides, while in sleep paralysis many people report having OBE's or out of body experinces. It can be fun but scary, but you have nothing to be afraid of.
there is nothing wrong with you.
