Why do you hate your parents?

i doubt it if any of them really hate their parents.only if their parents like abused them or abandoned then i can understand.but if they are saying jzt because their parents punish them 2 much or get on their nerves the are jzt being insolent and going through growing pains.
When your young you think your parents are out to get you. Parents won't let kids do what they want cause they know what is best for them. But when they get older they will never forget how they treated their parents and try to make up for it.

I hate my parents because they have done horrible things to me
Obviously they must be young or they have a lot of issues. One thing for sure is that they dont like "authority" of any kind & parents are the authority figure in their lives. They need help as "hate" is a very strong word, anyway our words are powerful & we can reap what we sow.
I don't hate my parents. A lot of kids dislike their parents because they won't let them do what they want, but almost always, the parents know what is best for the kids- that's when the kids are just being insolent. For example, my sister and brother got in trouble from my parents because they wouldn't obey them, and my brother, who's 6, said, "I hate Dad!" The next day, he was hugging him and being nice." It's just a temporary feeling that comes and goes when they don't get their way. Kids that hate their parents because they abused them physically or sexually, is valid. But there are different reasons why kids really hate their parents, or just are mad at them...hope this helped! =)
I thought I hated my parents when I was a teen too.
This generation of kids seems very moody. They want to be grown up and make life decisions at a very young age. Parents try to teach them, they rebel and see it as limitations.
Teenage brains aren't developed enough yet to fully comprehend the world around them. In their minds, they are right and don't understand why parents tell them that they are wrong.
Or are you talking about the lazy kids that don't want to take any responsibility for their life and those around them? That do what they want when they want and can't be bothered by anyone that isn't themself?
