Speaking from experience, I have been on Lexapro for almost two years now and I am a 30 year old male. I have experienced zero side effects what so ever. I am pretty sure you are safe, because I have noticed no change at all in my sex drive and I am a Newlywed. Good luck!

hey man, dont sweat it, i started taking paxil 6 years back and have been taking lexapro now for about 3. you have absolutley nothing to worry about.
ah. i was on it a couple years ago. to put it mildly i am an extremely intimate person. and i was fine for about the first week. but after that it went away! i was rarely "motivated". and when i would get in the mood i could never finish. it has happened to everyone i know who is on it. that and it makes you extremely tired. that's why i came off of it. i have a family to care for and i was sleeping about 16 hrs a day! so good luck to you but i hear wellbutrin (not sure on spelling) has the least sexual side effects. my sister is on it and well she managed to get pregnant so...good luck
I've taken every medication for depression under the sun, and none of 'em supressed anything but my ability to think rationally. Be careful, if you go into a doctor's office and they're using pens and clipboards with 'PROZAC' all over 'em and you go in there and they're like 'you need prozac!' they're just making that **** up for comission.
But, you should be fine if you haven't felt side effects from a similar type of medication. My father is sensitive to that stuff though, and it did effect his sex drive so be careful man.

im a 16 year old girl and i went on lexapro last april. I NEVER wanted to do anything sexual w/my bf. i had to end up going off of it. but it works diff. for evreyone so u can try it and if it doesnt work switch :)
