Answers:
Please ignore some of the disrespectful responses--bipolar is a very real disease that can be devastating for many people, and shouldn't be treated lightly

Anyway, these sorts of feelings/actions can be attributed to the changes in hormone balance that occur in puberty. But what matters is the degree to which they occur--if these symptoms take over a large portion of your life and prevent you from going about your normal routine, it could mean there's a bigger problem going on.

It's probably not necessarily bipolar, as that is characterized by periods of intense depression followed by an extreme opposite. However, there are a number of other more specific (and treatable!!) condition that could be affecting you, but no one here is qualified to make a diagnosis.

Please please please go see your family doctor and talk to him/her openly and honestly about your feelings! If there is something going on, it needs to be treated--it will only get worse. Remember that if there is something more than just normal puberty-type stuff going on that it is a medical disease and not your fault.

I hope this helps and that you find someone you can confide in who can get you some help! Good luck!

EDIT: By the way, most bipolar people do not cycle minute-by-minute--sometimes you can be depressed for days, and then be happy for days.
Bi-polar... Big time
y do we care
we dont know go talk to your doctor and get a test
I would think you are a perfectionist with obsessive compulsive tendencies.

Update: Based on your added info. I agree the above is most likely wrong. Its sounds as if you are trying to please others through your work as a way of proving your value and if one finds fault with it in anyway, even if the one finding fault is you, you interpret that as somehow meaning you don't have value and that scares you. Remember that no matter how well you do or don't do on something is not what matters. That you try to use the talents you are given to do your best is what is important. If you come up short sometimes it only proves that you are, like the rest of us, human. If we get everything perfectly then we would never truly appreciate the joy of success once we have achieved something we've tried hard and repeatedly to accomplish. Everyone who has ever succeeded at anything had to try many times to get there and there is a world of people out there trying to accomplish something every single day. That they get up in the morning and continue to try is in itself an accomplishment. Allow yourself that which you would a friend. I am sure you are expecting too much to expect perfection every time you do something. Besides, people who insist on perfection aren't much fun.
you misspelled "doesn't" are you going to get angry and cry and scream and kick and punch anything?
You sound like a spoiled child. Don't worry, this too shall pass. At least you recognize you are doing it. Now work on changing it.

Oh please you with your thumbs down. I gave my answer well before she added all her additional details.
So I change my answer from being a spoiled kid to an overly dramatic kid. Geez.
Puberty is rough.

Bi polar is a lot of mood swings in an extreme way. As in hyper as heck, no sleep for several months and then depressed for another several months. Or you can flip flop several times a day.

If your really concerned go ask for help from your school counselor. Mental illness is serious and can lead to self destructive/dangerous behavior. Sometimes even suicide.
bi-polar is when you can go from EXTREMELY happy to suicidal.

putting any medical aspects aside, you just need to calm down and relax.
Well, you'd definitely want to talk to a doctor, but it really doesn't sound like bipolar to me. Bi-polar consists of drastic switches from happy to sad that aren't always brought on by one thing in particular.

Does anyone in your family have anger management problems? Sounds like mostly you are overreacting to small things, which is indicative of an anger issue - not bi-polar personality disorder.
It's tough coming to grips with the reality that you make mistakes and you are not as smart as you might think you are.

But you can take that energy and focus for your own good by slowing down and using you perfectionist nature to be better.

Then reward yourself when you see the improvement.

For example, if you always misspell the word "believe", then after you practice and do it right, you should take a moment and pat yourself on the back.
You are just hormonal. This is puberty/pms life can be hard and when you bottle things up inside your emotions always seek some sort of escape. Bi-Polar is somebody who goes from happy to sad... extremely.. thats why its called bi-polar. When your happy you are happier then most ppl and when you are depressed you cant get out of bed.
You REALLY need to talk to your parents about this. Sometimes parents get caught up in thier day to day lives and do not notice things they should. There is nothing wrong with going to your doctor and talking to them you may be clinicly depressed. That just means you are sad , upset and you dont know how to stop that feeling. Cutting yourself is somthing you do when emotional pain is so strong that you will do anything to escape it... even inflicting physical pain upon yourself. It also gives you a feeling of control and it seems right now you feel very little control in your life. Just talk to your parents and if you dont want to tell them everything ask to talk to your doctor. This is what doctors are for, they go to school for many years to learn how to help people in your situation :)
I really hope this helps you.
be well.
You don't say how old you are. Your reaction could be many things. You might simply be a perfectionist who hasn't learned to control your reactions, or hormones could be surging.
Have your parents take you to your MD and recommend an evaluation by a specialist if you feel out of control, especially if you feel like hurting yourself or someone else.
EVeryone is diagnosed Bipolar today if they have a temper tantrum or cry for a week Choose a doctor & meds For life or go with the flow.
Sounds like a mixture of obsessive-compulsive tendencies & hormones, anger issues, and maybe just a little spoiled?
Seriously, sounds like you do need to talk to a professional.
I think you're going to have to consider the possibility that you're just immature and don't know how else to deal with your frustrations. And, I'm not trying to be rude honestly, I'm just trying ot be real. If you were bipolar you might go from thinking "OMG! this answer is great I'm going to get best answer for sure!" one minute and then "I HATE this answer this site sucks!" the next minute. Try going to this site and taking their test to see if you should talk to a professional about bipolar also known as manic depressive disorder: http://twotreesmedia.com/test2.htm...
you just haven't yet learned how to properly deal with your emotions. learn to calm yourself down. if that doesn't work, see a therapist to get better
that's not bipolar that's hormones and possibly some anger issues that need dealing with. tell your parents you don't like being like this anymore and could really do with some help to stop. take care
Hi:

What you are telling us seems to me that honey, you like perfection and when things are sloppy or not done to your expectations then you get frustrated and angry, cry and kick.

I would say you are not Bipolar but your anger seems to flair quickly and then add in the fact the you are begining puberty, all put together can make it tough sometimes.

If you are concerned talk with Mom and Dad and let them know you have certain concerns and that you would like an appointment at the doctors to discuss these things with him, just so you know "for real".

Mom and Dad can't help you if they don't know that you have concerns so the best place to start out first is by talking to them.

Be safe and be well
