Why every one needs to pray before sleeping and in waking up?

I pray in the morning and during the day and at night! It's because I love God and believe He answers prayers! He lives in my heart and He is always at my side, even if I leave Him, He never leaves me! I have so many people that have asked me to pray for them, I can't let them down or myself or God! Oh I pray for myself too. I need it because life can be hard at times and also because it makes me feel closer to God! So say your prayers especially if it makes you happy! Hugs!
For some of use who are very ill with something that can't be fixed it is a way to find comfort and peace.
the atheists probably dont . only those who believe in religion and spirituality. its good - being thankful for the day. and seeking guidance for the day's activities to come after waking
it gives confidence and trust and know that god is watchng over us
