What can i do about a kid 6yr old from wetting the bed is lazzy or what?

Question:

Answers:
actually, the child's bladder probably hasn't caught up in size with the rest of its body...that happens to kids that age...it just has a small bladder right now...just make sure the kid doesn't have liquids after 6:30 p.m. (assuming the child goes to bed around 8:30 p.m.)
Take him to the doctor to rule out any physiological problems. Check in your family to see if there were any ancestors that had a history of bed wetting. Usually this will pass.
I would highly doubt the child is lazy. More than likely it's due to a medical condition. Take the child to the doctor and under no circumstances should you punish or degrade the child for this as it can make the problem much worse.
No child (I don't believe) would intentionally wet the bed. My daughter is 4and has not wet the bed since she was 3 (and it only happened twice) I know when I was small my mom used to give my brother and I Flintstone Vitamins, he wet the bed every night until she stopped giving them to him..he never did it again. Could be something he/she is taking, eating..etc.
no fluids at least 2 hours before bedtime, potty before bed time, and wake up once in the middle of the night to take him to the bathroom. It is not his fault,a nd he is not lazy, this takes work, he has peed his pants for 6 years, it will take time to break that habit, please be patient, this problem should have had much more attention by YOU before he was 6 years old. Just remember he is still a little kid, an don't get frustrated. Also, pull ups that have the "cold sensation" work really well, it wakes them up if they pee.

Good luck!
make him wear diapers! or see your doctor
First take the child to the doctor to make sure there isn't any under lying problem.
Some times they just sleep to sound and don't realise they are doing it.
What ever you do don't humiliate the child or get real mad, make sure they don't drink anything at least a hour or two before bed time and make them go use the restroom seconds before bed, and for a few nights you could wake the child at least once in the night and have the child go to the restroom this wakes them from the deep sleep do this a few nights or up to a week and they should start learning not to sleep so deep and should start waking them selves during the night.
Good Luck.
I really don't think the child is lazy. One of my son's had that problem until he was 9. My nephew had the prob till 12. That's why they invented the Good Night underwear/diapers. A lot of kid's bladder just aren't mature, period. I remember this one neighbor girl who was about 11 who had that problem. Her mom would drag out her mattress to the front porch to dry and humiliate her child! I knew when I had kids, I would be compassionate if that happen. And with my second child, it did. Rest assured, he's a well adjusted 24 year old who is a guard at Folsom Prison!!!
Ok, not to scare you, but this can be a sign of abuse. So, first take the child to a doctor and then talk to the child to make sure nothing bad is happening.
Hi. No...the child is not lazy. My daughter did this for a little while and I never did know for sure what it was that triggered it...she might have picked up on stress in the home? Not sure. Anyhow, I never once acted put out with her, or angry...I simply changed her clothes, cleaned her up, changed her sheets and put her back in bed and told her all was okay. It didn't take long before she stopped wetting the bed.

So, always be patient, never make them feel ashamed, and make sure they are cleaned up...do not make a big deal about this to the child as that will only make things worse. Good luck to you.
Its not that he is being lazy. Also if he has something to drink after a certain hour that can cause him to wet the bed. I have listed a site that is helpful.
Well! I'm not sure! But it would be a good idea to take him to the doctor! My brother wet the bed and he went to the doctor and they told him he had a very small bladder, that needed to be relieved more than normal peoples bladder do. He would sleep right through wetting the bed and didn't know it until he woke up. So it may not be lazziness, it could be due to something medical. Good luck! hugs!
He is a kid for goodness sake. He is not an adult, his bladder is probably not mature yet. His bladder and the muscles that control it may not be mature yet. Quit comparing him to other kids. He will mature in his own time. I hope you are not his parents, If you are you are a jerk, and you desperately need some parenting classes. If you don't do the kid a favor and put a bullet in your head
The first step should be a medical exam to rule out a health problem. Then you should ask your Pediatrician's advice on how to deal with this.

I was a bedwetter until I was about 5 or6 and it was due to being a very heavy sleeper. Eventually I grew out of it and haven't had a problem since. One of my children had the same problem until she was 4 years old. Some kids just take longer to mature.

They make a disposable underwear for kids your son's age and he can wear them and be responsible for himself. It will keep the bedding dry and help avoid embarrassment. You should not tell him he is lazy or being a baby or get angry with him. He can't help it.
