Is this a Mental Condition?
Question:
Any High Lights?
Answers:
schizophrenia is a disease where people think about doing dangerous things or sometimes they cannot control their thoughts. I've researched it before and it sounds like it MIGHT be something similar, but it depends. Mention this to your doctor and tell her/him how often it has been happening and how stron the urge is from 1-10. Only a doctor who's trained can give you the real answer, don't rely on people from Yahoo.
Yep, sounds like a possible psychotic break. I'd seek help if I were you.
Are you saying you are hearing voices? If that is the case you could be having a form of pycosis. Go to a Dr.
I would say yes...maybe you should see a counselor and tell them what you have said here...
well it sounds like ur just nerveous about driving
thats it
no mental condition
yep.
where you drive?
so i can keep out of way
Yes, I would say so. Are you hearing voices or something?
First of all it's a thought. If you actually have not acted on it then you are ok. We all think things and it's not anyone but you. It sounds like suppressed anger to me and not anything more than that. If it's keeping you from eveyday normal activities then I suggest seeing a psychologist. It can't hurt, there are plenty of centers out there.
this is very important: Do you "fear" that you would want to drive into another car, or do you feel you want to actually do that? Because I have ocd and when I am driving I feel the sudden urge that I might ram my car into someone else's on purpose, but I don't want to. It's just my fear that I would want to, though I never have and NEVER want to ever.
right off, yvonne, it sounds like schizophrenia. that would mean you are experiencing some form of hallucination or delusion that can not be controlled. but dont jump to conclusions. sometimes through stressful times in our lives some of us experience exaggerated mental processes..reasearch schizophrenia and keep an eye out for these symptoms. Also, talk with a doctor and let him know your concerns.
Does this happen when you are angry or upset? Maybe it's your way of blowing off steam.
We 'think' a lot of things but, that is different from 'doing' them. However, if you are actually hearing someone tell you to do this you need to see your doctor.
