Sleeping Disorder?

Question:
I am 17 and go to sleep at around 1am-2am, and it takes me more than an hour to fall asleep. When I wake up the time is around 1pm-3pm (12hrs+ of sleep) but I am not tired. I do not take any sleep medications and I set my alarm for 11:30am, but I usually turn it off in my sleep.

Answers:
get off the computer about an hour before you go to sleep, and just read a book and relax. no electronics, no games, no tv. Your sleep cycle is being disturbed by these electronic devices. trust me, I had a similar problem. My mother helped me fix it.
sounds like a typical teenager. you'll grow out of it
You might just be one of those people that requre twelve hours of sleep.

If your really concerned about it though, I'd recommend making an appointment with your GP.
