Whatever you're on, gimme some of it! Just kidding ... Nope, I don't think you've got a problem at all ... I think you're one of those rare and wonderful people who manage to keep a positive outlook no matter what!
Pretty much everyone has an "emotional set-point" and most of us fall somewhere near the middle, neither happy nor sad. Some folks have a very negative attitude toward everything, and we've all encountered someone like that. I think you're one of the very lucky ones at the other end of the spectrum. If more people were like you, the world would be a happier place! Now ... go share your joy!
thats a problem i'd like to have. its unusuall thats all
I think it sounds abnormal if you're happy to the point of being manic. But it's a good thing if you can feel content and positive most of the time.
Well. It could be bipolar disorder I, and you maybe having a Manic episode. I don't know, unforch, what "despite the circumstances" means, but I'm assuming that you mean being extremely happy at an inappropriate time, say-when someone passes away? It could be any number of things, your question is sort of vague, so it's hard to say. But, I would bet that it's most definately a behavioral disorder (histronic, narcissictic, etc.) or mood disorder (bipolar I, a hypomanic phase). If you are speaking in regards to yourself, and you are concerned-or unless you are speaking about a loved one you believe to be in danger of doing something rash, you should get them professional help immediately. Again, your question is vague...it could even be a psychotic break...
well if you're so happy you're manic then maybe. but if you're just happy and content with everything, then i dont see it as a bad thing.
why is it that people think that being happy is a problem?
take it as a blessing, and unless you get depressed and violently detached from the world in a couple months, don't worry. you're luckier than many people.
