Having trouble sleeping away from home?

Question:
Whenever I go away from home, I have trouble falling asleep. It feels like I never sleep. Ive been having these problems for the camps I go to. I just get really homesick and worry throughout the day if I can make it to the next. At night I just break down and have to call my parents but I have to eventually fall asleep. I hate this problem. What can I do?

Hey man...i dunno how old you are but when i was younger i was like that .it gets easier.Still theres nothing like sleeping in your own bed.and you'll always want that. hope this helped. Maybe bring the blanket/pillow from your bed.pictures of your family maybe?
i used to be like that when i left home. just try not to think about your home. if u just lay there and close ur eyes, u can't tell that ur not at home in your room.
