Answers:
Provigil is a stimulant drug used to treat unusually sleepy people who have been diagnosed with narcolepsy, obstructive sleep apnea/hypopnea syndrome, or shift work sleep disorder.
Provigil will not cure any sleep disorder; it merely treats the symptom of sleepiness. (MD's only treat symptoms)
Side effects other than becoming habit forming is anxiety, depression, diarrhea, difficulty sleeping, dizziness, dry mouth, headache, infection, loss of appetite, loss of muscle strength, lung problems, nausea, nervousness, prickling or tingling feeling, runny nose, sore throat
Provigil may cause serious skin reactions, such as Stevens-Johnson syndrome.Provigil may impair your judgment, thinking, or motor skills.Oral and implantable contraceptives are less effective while you are taking Provigil.
Im not sure of the pros maybe you will be able to stay awake but some of the side effects make it hard to function you might as well be sleep
If you mean Provigil, it's less of a stimulant than Ritalin and works just as well for some. It's expensive and some insurance doesn't cover it.
from the looks of your aviatior(and I don't mean this rude) you don't need provigil!! it is a drug for narcolepsy. people who can't stay awake. usually prescribed for people who work night shifts. it is a highly addictive drug.

i started taking provigil when pemoline was taken off the market its not as effective as ritalin but can be used as a supplement the only side effect that i have encountered is a once in a while headache which can be prevented with an advil or something similar..the drug can be expensive cause many insurances dont cover it ..i use 2-3 a day as a supplement to ritalin and find it excellent
