I couldn't find a good answer. About 30.3 million scrips are filled every year. There are 32,805,041 people in Canada. That would come out to 92.36%. That sounds crazy high to me. I think the scrips filled aren't "long term" use. Maybe that number would make the percentage longer but i couldn't find it.

About 25% of people will experience at least one bout with major depression in their lives. A bunch of people have anxiety and other issues which also are treated with ADs. Ballpark WAG... 10-15% at any given time.
