Am I likely to be predisposed to any mental illnesses?

Hmm . . . I don't have any family history of mental illness apart from some depression but I do have depression, anxiety (especially in social situations), lots of worries, and have had some intense intrusive thoughts in the past that were just hell (still do, but not as often). The reason I ask is because I want to experiment with LSD and other psychedelics, but am worried that I might end up with schizophrenia or something.

Ignore J_man, he's a knob who loves giving bad advice. And dink is over reacting. Everyone thinks about their ability to cope with situations and drugs is something worth questioning. Rather than worrying about if a trip is going to turn you schizo maybe consider why it is you want to do LSD in the first place? If you're happy that you know the risks and the benefits, then go for it. If you have doubts, don't.

To even suggest, as your question does, that you are rationally contemplating taking illegal drugs is a form of mental illness. And, there is the considerable possibility that you are a complete imbecile and an idiot in addition to being mentally ill. So, in an effort to cover all the bases I shall have to say to you, "DON'T TAKE ANY ILLEGAL DRUGS, YOU DUMB S**T!"
