Depression...help!?
Question:
Answers:
I learned from my psychology teacher that there's these psychology or therapy books that help you so instead of seeing and listening to a therapist you can just read to help you out :-)
Well what feelings are you feeling?
Examine your life and try to see around when you started feeling sad, what occurred during then, the people who were or were not in your life, ect.
Sometimes, when people lose a loved one, they become very sad about it.
Or sometimes someone else like a step mom or dad comes into your life and you really hate them because they are taking the place of your real mom or dad.
So examine your life closely and see if any stimulus or change was caused which may be the cause of why you are feeling depressed.
And sometimes, pyscharitrists may be free if you apply for that.
Tell your parents that I always feel sad. Don't say you feel depressed or you can talk to me. My primary email address is amdwinxgrl@yahoo.com.
Honey, if you feel so depressed and for so long, the best is going for a pschiatrist and try some antidepressives. I was depressed for long, long time and having pills was the best.
I recommended Prozac, it's cheaper than the others and excellent.
If you can't afford a psichiatrist try to go to an Hospital, must be some solution dear.
Good luck!
they'll be covered by insurance. I see a psycologist for my anxiety & depression. my insurance covers 80% of it. ^¿^ .. I take celexa medicine. also covered by insurace its $90.00 a month. ( I pay 18.00 ) if you cant get insurance. you can get aid from your state. you have to fill out a long form every 6 months. then they cover everything. *¿* my kid is on minn. care. good luck
Don't you have insurance? If not, you need to get some. At least have your parents or a friend help you get that.
I'm on Community Blue and my appointments with my counselor or whatever are free. I just give them the card, they scan it and give it back.
I hope things eventually will get to that point for you!
stress and depression is all American bullshit ..you guys make yourselves this way and like to talk about it a lot!!! silly people
It's really tough to have a mental illness and no insurance. My one bottle of Abilify costs over $600. And that's not counting the psychiatrist visits. Luckily I'm on SSDI and have Medicare to pay for all that.
I suggest you tell your parents. They can figure out a counseling agency that accepts you on a "sliding scale". That is, you pay according to your income. If your income is low, your payments are low.
You didn't mention you age, so I don't know if they are responsible, but surely they will want you to have the best care. I know it's difficult, but you have to put an end to your 2 years of suffering. Be brave and stand up for yourself. Good Luck!
I have been depressed for over 75% of my life. Anxiety is a gift that keeps on giving, too.
