What do you do when you're down?
Question:
Answers:
I'll most likely be found listening to loud angry music and writing in my journal or playing video games, if I don't feel like writing. I write to give the negative thoughts somewhere to go and then I just try to distract myself until I feel better. Sleep is a good alternative, too. You can't tell you're depressed if you're asleep.
just pray for relief of my mind

There is nothing better then listening to music! Dance.Dance.Dance!! Peace!
When I'm down I write in a journal and it helps me sort my feelings out. Also, sometimes I get involved in a hobby to take my mind of things. Its a great distraction. Its also a good idea if you have a good friend that you trust to confide in them about whats troubling you as its good to get things off your chest. and be comforted by a friend. These are some of the things I do. Hope this helps.
I go out with my 18yr old daughter, take long bus rides, go to the library and read. Eat and take pictures on our digicam which we upload into the pc.
I dance ,it works for me,but anything positive that you enjoy doing will help.
