Are these symptoms for a disorder?

Question:
lately i just haven't been feeling like myself.

i'm always tired, and i rather sleep, eat and be alone.
i get irritated so easily, and for the past month i really can't stand being around people.

my head hurts after three hours of just walking around and what not.

// is there something wrong with me?
- this has been, like i said, for about a month now... but it's gotten worse these past two weeks.

Answers:
i use to feel same way often..not always but in spurts..periods of depression, thats what i call them..i think its important to put double effort on ur part to socialize more when u feel that way..keep a diary, spill out your feelings in it. you will feel lighter and better..and always, before goingto sleep keep saying this in your mind.."i am good and happy"..this conditions your subconscious..do it for a couple of weeks..you will feel much better..also try to get up early and do meditation..this helps mind to relax and destress..

Sounds like you might be suffering the early signs of a Mental Illness. Probalary best to go see the Doctor and receive some assistance medication or counselling.
Read through some of the information on the website attached it provides some great help. Does sound like depression.
No, not pathetic. Probably depression. There are all sorts of reasons that depression can happen - sometimes there are none at all you can see but you certainly have some symptoms and it sounds like you are really sad.

When you seek some medical help they can give you some depression tests where you answer sets of questions to determine if you are suffering from depression.

It is so awful when you feel so low and bad and have no idea what is going on. I have been through that be alone thing too. There are lots of different ways to combat depression from relaxation, therapy, medication and exercise.

Perhaps first of all you need not to hate yourself for being like this - you have not chosen it. Go see a doctor and have a chat to find out what is going on.

you may be depressed but really should see your primary doctor to rule out any metabolic reason for your symptoms first. please get help though.those symptoms sound miserable and i hope you get some help.good luck :-)
Well we are go through changes, and you could be really stressed out, and that takes a lot out of you. You need to force yourself out of the house. Get out and have some fun, and try to get doing things with your friends again. The heat could be part of your problem too, sometimes when it is so hot out you just don't want to do anything. You really need to get out, and get around people, so you do not get another problem. The headache could be a stress headache. If i was you i would go to the doctor for that, and maybe see a professional about how you are feeling strange. It may be nothing. It is worth having it checked out though.
Could be depression.

You can consult with a mental health counselor or with your primary care physician.

I would not see a psychiatrist for depression due to the high cost of the fee. Psychiatrists are excellent for more complicated forms of mental disorders, but depression is like the common cold==it happens more to regular folks.
sounds like depression, if it doesn't start 2 get better in about a month, or gets worse, u should definately speak 2 ur gp. I sometimes get like periods of depresion, stuff similar 2 u and it usually goes away in about 2 months
