Been taking Paxil 10 mgs for depression for 3 days now. But it seems to make me anxious. Is this normal until?

Question:
I GET USED TO IT? I fell like not taking it. Should I take it for a while to see if it stops and the Paxil works?

Answers:
I'm a Paxil user, and I felt anxious the first week or so. Partly due to the fact I was thinking about my mood disorder 24/7. Partly because it made me feel like crap at first! I was severely nauseas and fatigued. And whenever I am tired , I get anxious and depressed. Fun cycle, huh? BUT....after the initial yuk started waning, I started feeling calmer, more comfy in my skin. My racing unstoppable thoughts slowed down, my quirky OCD counting ritual was no more, and I could do those left hand turns while driving that I had avoided for years...long story! Give it a chance. If it's not the right med for you, you can change. But a couple weeks or less of feelin' crummier than poop is worth a lifetime of contentment, believe me!!!
Two to six weeks. WebMD for more detaills or call your shrink back.
Just happens to be one I tried. As long as you don't get the side effects I did it might work. It does take a few weeks to really start working properly. I've tried 4 so far and not found a winner yet.
