Don't read into it. Wait til they talk to you, then it will be more clear, on what they want. If anything at all.

It's a way of saying "hi".. showing that you noticed them.. generally it's done across a room- like waving your hand.

When anyone does that ...they are opening up their eyes wider to get a better look at you. They are happy to see you. This can be as automatic as smiling or sometimes just as fake too.
I'm surprised that this is the first time you've noticed this. Have you been dieting and working out? Doing something differnt with your hair ... ?

Therapists in Richmond, VA who specialize in treating BPD?
Wellllllll... it doesn't matter does it darlin'? They are married so you presumably have no interest in knowing if they are flirting and so being able to flirt back and I cannot imagine you intend to find their wives and tell them their men are flirting with you so what possible purpose could knowing, or wondering, what they mean by it serve?
But if you must know, and I'm sure you do already, they find you attractive. If you know (and I don't mean like an anorexic weighing 12# "knows" herself to be fat) that you're not altogether eye-opening attractive, then it is because you cheer up their days in some other fashion, perhaps with a fine personality.
Just as Freud said 'sometimes a cigar is just a cigar,' not every flirty action is an attempt at flirting. Flirting is artificial and done on purpose, imitating natural reactions to ease you into the good feelings those reactions engender in one. So you must expect to run into those reactions to you when they are perfectly natural (friendly) and not contrived (flirty). I'm saying, though they find you attractive, likely physically, they are not necessarily flirting, even subconciously. Simply reacting naturally. Most of them.
