There are many, many tools that can be used to boost your self confidence. But one of the simplest ways to start is to make a list of your positive qualities, or strengths. When you feel underconfident, pull that list out and look at it. Or recite it to yourself quietly if you are not in a situation where reading it would be reasonable. At night, before bed, take a moment to dwell on things that you did right during the day and remind yourself of your positive traits.

Everyone has a collection of qualities, some they consider positive and some the consider negative. Some people tend to dwell on the qualities they consider negative, which can result in feeling underconfident. Focusing on your positive qualities can help retrain your mind away form habitual patterns that lead you to feel underconfident.

Well you just have to feel good about yourself...and a good way to do that is to mabe get a make over or get some new clothes that look really good on you. Or you could just talk to someone that always makes you feel good.

Here are my suggestions how to improve your self confidence...

1) volunteer to help handicapped, disabled or elderly. doing good things for others that cannot help themselves gives a person a stronger sense of belonging, self esteem and a sense of worth to the community. additionally, you are making someone elses life better, so it has double benefits.

2) set your goals realistically, in that if you try to achieve things and succeed, you realize quickly where your strengths and interests are. The more you succeed the more your confidence grows. Its a positive thing.

3) Think positive, ie: PMA, Positive Mental Attitude. You may think it sounds silly but if you picture yourself succeeding and confident, you will be. If you envision yourself failing, you will. The goal is to see yourself as a winner and a good person, so that you use that as the objective.

Wake up in the morning and look into the mirror and say I am good enough and I am deserving of myself. Keep doing it and eventually you will boost your confidence. At least that is how it worked on Saturday Night Live as for me I am still trying to find an answer to that question. Good Luck

Positive affirmations really help. If you say them often enough, you will start to believe in them (and yourself). Also, if you put up little notes or positive sayings around your house where you are likely to see them often, they really give a boost. Example: I have a picture on my fridge of a little kitten looking at it's reflection in the mirror (and reflected in the mirror is a big lion) the caption beneath it reads :"What matters most is how you see yourself"
Why?Are you not in a clique because they look down on you? If so, using "the secret" will surely help. Let me explain the secret. It is as simple as this. "What you think is what you'll get" or even simpler "Thoughts become things". It is scientifically proven that thoughts have frequencies and these frequencies actually bring towards you whatever you think. If your thinking of being popular, you'll be popular! But if you think of what you hate, what you hate will even come more. Think positive! That's all that is required except of course, knowing that you and whoever you talk to are equal and that you are a person that has the right to be sociable.
There's a good book out called. "Real Magic" by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer. It teaches you how to be happy, healthy, confident, successful and prosperous in daily living through positive thinking and actions. You might want to give it a try. Good Luck to you!
