Answers:
its the feeling you get from drugs.it doesnt last forever.but the feeling the drug has on u for that very moment is so worth it, no matter the consequences. Drugs temporarily make all your problems go away to. When u r hooked on drugs u could careless about the future, all u think about is NOW.
because they are bored
or have nothing to lose
too much time on their hands
some drugs are entertaining
its when you do it all the time that you have a problem
because they're fun.
and the danger is part of the fun.
the risk of looking like crap and loosing everything gets your adrenalin flowing.
Bored or depressed wanting the mental pain to vanish. Some love the sights/ the high feeling.
Cause they are weak and can't say no.
Who knows why, but they do over and over again, ad nauseum! Some people just need to have something that they are not getting at home, I guess. It is so sad that they do that to their bodies and themselves and others.
Drugs can help you escape realty its puts you in a diff rent mindset and that's the most addictive thing, but if your strong minded like myself and once your sober and able to get over the urges of wanting to to do it again, because it made you feel so good the first time, because when you try something that makes you feel so good and cant get it off your mind your bound to do it again then eventually do it over and over
and that's when you become a addict.
Many people start because of peer pressure. They just want to fit in with a certain person or crowd.
I wanted (still kinda do) want to turn to drugs to get myself out of depression. I feel really lonely and upset, and extremely tired, I felt like I needed something to keep me going, something to just block out the pain I was feeling, I didn't care what it was going to do to me later, I just wanted the pain gone now. (Pretty much the reason I started cutting), for me my desire to turn to drugs was a part of denial, now I talk to people on MSN or write in my diary to help myself understand what I'm feeling and how insignificant the pain I'm feeling is, I also write songs to help as well.

Some people do it for a high when they're bored or thier friends are doing it, and they get over it with the support of thier friends, family etc. and maybe return to normal, however addicts who do it because they have let thier addiction become thier coping method feel like they could not survive without drugs, and may enter a position where they can remember feeling happy because of the drugs, they've lost everything, and feel like they need the drugs to be normal again, that's why a lot of people relapse.
because there is one simple answer... It feels good! and it is a way to cope, and escape from ones problems.
I know many people and close relatives who use drugs. Every single one of them knew of the addictive qualities and yet made an informed choice to pursue the recreational use of their particular drug of choice!
I didn't really like myself and I was afraid of looking "soft."
