Sounds like you've accomplished step #1 in the 12 step process. So move on to # 2: "Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity". Then progress to #3: "Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him. " Honestly, as someone who had the same problem you do, the ONLY way I recovered was doing step 2 and 3, then finally achieving recovery when I got to #'s 5 and 6: "Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character. Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings. "
Giving my addiction over to God, my higher power, is the only way I was able to end my addiction, and it also ended the cravings, the physical problems and the withdrawals.
you have to get so sick and tired of it that you want nothing but to quit. until then good luck.
once you reach that point stop doing them, change your friends and lifestyle, and also change your mentality.
now go screw your self you whinny punk.
well my mom has a friend who had a daughter who was addicted to nyquil but she slept over at a friends house and her mom even packed nyquil for her friends mom to give to her but she said she wasnt going to cause thats wrong so now she is older and her mother regrets ever giving her daughter niquil!
You have to cut down...for example if you're taking 5 a day cut down to 4 for a few weeks then 3 etc. That's the only way I know to avoid some bad side effects. If you can't do that you need to call the hospital and ask if they a treatment center to detox you.
if you are truly in pain and have a true medical condition go to a pain management center, but tell the Dr's there that you are taking to many of whatever pain med you are taking and they'll change it and they will monitor you so closely you will be surprised and they will will exam you so thoroughly to see what you really need. So like I said if you are really in pain and not just getting high do this
