Have you read this book?
Answers:
Yes, I have read PIN DOWN and was horrified at what went on, and the good thing about it is that she has all the proof to back it up, I am now a member of her website www.no2abuse.com and teresa cooper is doing a great job in trying to help other survivors address their issues amongst other things. keep up the good work teresa.
And yes, she should flog her own book, the more people that know about what went on and what still goes on the more we can do to get things changed.
No
I'm sorry... I haven't. As eye-opening as this book sounds, I try to steer myself from reading any kind of negativity so as to keep myself from being negative.
Ooo sure haven't but i think i'm pretty interested now.
No, but I shall. The model that a person in emotional crisis is a thought criminal who needs to be shamed and tortured to make them aware of how wrong their feeling bad is and that they are never going to function fully in "normal" society is perverse.
I visited a friend just recently who was in a rehab half way house and read some literature he'd been given about a place in Western Michigan that actually does Electro Shock treatments. The PC version of that term is now ECT. Still smells like burning witches to me. God please forgive the misguided individuals who need more healing for their god complexes than some of the people unfortunate enough to be their patient. First do no harm. End of discussion.
are you flogging your own book?
No. There are always kooks in the world who hurt innocent children. I'm sorry they had to suffer.
