Question:
My doc has just prescribed this for me. 0.5mg in the morning and 1mg at night. What are the side effects for a dose like this? Will there be weight gain? I just stopped taking another med because it caused me to gain about 15lbs in a month! So if that is the case with this one I dont think I will take it. Also does Seroquel cause weight gain? (because I take 50mg at bedtime to help sleep) He said it would be okay to take both of these if needed. Thanks for your help!

Risperdal caused me to put on a few pounds but it is a great drug...i didnt have the erge to kill anyone on it!calmed me down.. gave it to me for bipolar
