I have the same problem.except i make myself throw up until my throat bleeds..uhh yeah. Your just a cutter... i think you know that already, if you want to get better go to a therapist.

I dated a girl very similiar she felt this was the only way to feel.
You need to make it threw these ruff years of puburty and youth. I PROMISE IT WILL PASS. Dont be a stereo typical EMO> Be stronger than that be original. Be strong find things like playing music or painting crazy abstract sh!t to express your emotions
as you said you cut and starve yourself to relieve emotional pain.you realy should see a therapist so you can learn to deal with your emotions in a better way
you're depressed. you may feel helpless and like there's no hope for yourself. But there is. Talk to someone about how you're feeling. I would suggest a pastor at a local church.
Please seek help. Unlike what is posted above this is NOT a phase. It will NOT pass. You need to find better ways to deal with the issues that cause you to cut.

As a teenager i used to cut myself too. I would do it to so that it would overpower the deep emotional pain inside me.This was because I had a really low self esteem, was shy and had problems talking to people even though I had a loving and caring family and a happy childhood. I was supersensitive felt things intensly, and was vulnerable to criticism.In addition I was too trusting and would get attached tp people easily and when those people let me down, i felt intense pain.
Then i realised that cutting was not the answer, it did not actually help me, just left scars down my arms, it did not make it easier to talk to people, or make me less shy and self conscious. The pain was still inside me. You need to ask youself why you are doing this, what emotional crisis or issues are you suffering from? Try to think positive, do things which make you happy. See your GP, you might be depressed, try to see a councellor, talk to someone that cares about how you feel.Because trust me, cutting does not help, and years down the line when you're not in this place anymore you don't want scars down your arms, never allowing you to forget.
