What would you do if you had a year to live, if you could help someone a long the way. would you be selfish?
Question:
Answers:
first of all our purpose in life is to help our fellow-man....
NO i would not be selfish.....
but the one and far most thing one better do is to make sure their heart is right with GOD [be save...asking JESUS to forgive you of all your sins and believing in your heart that HE is the SON of GOD and HE died for you]..
if i knew i only had 365 days to live on this great earth i would not tell a soul and continuing as i am, but helping others to a more degree with the understanding that works don't get me to HEAVEN but it's GRACE by FAITH.
a person's mind would drive them to the grave sooner if they allowed it to run wild.i have had cancer in my eye and when it was taken out the doctors said that it may take my life anyways.honestly.my replay was...maybe.maybe not...but i wasn't going to live worrying about it. i pray that GOD would give me longer here on earth with my love ones and believe HE would..it's been over 5yrs now and i am still cancer free..
[ 1 eye but cancer free lol]..
speaking of selfishness...when a person's heart is in the right place, he will sacrifice his own wants to give joy to others...in return he feels the joy as well.
to all that read this please be advise...live your life in such a way that when you die the preacher won't have to lie...
set standards and live by them..
cause who knows, tonight or the next hour our time could be up...after we're gone it's to late to change anything.
the way a tree falls is the way it will laid..
the condition we die in will be the condition we will rise in as well.....
so live right
live long
and live happy.......

I don't completely understand what you mean, but I think yes, if I had one year to live, I would want to help others. I think I would want to help others understand how precious life is.
i would help someone till the say i die thats the kinda person i am
I would still help others just like I've always done.
Hello. I would like to say that I would do the noble thing and give my time to help someone else if I could, but honestly, I don't believe myself when I think about it; I wouldn't know what I would do until I was in that situation, and I don't really think anybody else would know how they would handle it either. Just like in war, you can train train train and train, but you never really know how you'll handle it until the bullets are real and your life is actually on the line. I'm going to go out on a limb and be a bit patronizing and say that I wouldn't believe anyone who answered this question one way or the other, not until you really had only one year to live and knew it. I don't think this question really belongs in the mental health section, either...
you can only answer this question if you were the one with the year to go, we are all different
