How to tell if your going crazy?
Question:
Answers:
You are not going crazy.I too have the same issue. I was always jumping from one thing to another in my head. I could not stop thinking, moving, and was worried all the time. I worried about things that were no big deal. I suffered from extreme panic attacks. For example, I would get into my car, and worry that I would pass out, wreck, or even die. I sought help and found out that I had anxiety/depression..and OCD. I have been on medication now for 10 years. It took me about 3 different meds to find the one that works best, and I'm happy to say that my mind does not race, and I feel great.
Don't think of it as "going crazy"..it is such a stereotyoe that is not true. Maybe explain to your friends what you are going through(true friends will understand). Then maybe try to get some help. Start with your family Dr. for a referral.
Just believe that it will get better. It does! It takes time, but you can do it!
Good Luck to you!
no you aren't crazy but you need to try to stay calm and find ways to relax
If this is affecting your ability to function then you need to visit a psychiatrist to investigate further your symptoms. this can be serious. Read more about mental health below.
If your thoughts are racing too fast to finish before you have another one, they are negative and your are depressed, you are aggitated and irritable, you can't sit still, your don't need much sleep... then, you need to see a psychiatrist. Those are symptoms of bipolar.
If the above does not really describe what's going on, then make an appointment with a psychologist to help sort it out with you.
Seeing a psychologist or a psychiatrist is not a sign of weakness. It is a sign of desired health.
