Answers:
Because they are stupid. Exposure to sunlight or tanning can cause cancer. Skin cancer can kill.
Use sun lotion when going outside and stay out of tanning beds!
i dont know, really. i guess just bcuz it looks cool and healthy. i mean, when u r really white, you look like your sick. back in the day, people used to want to be white, not tan. things have changed a bit
A tan has always been a sign that a person is healthy and active. However this thinking isn't valid. I think tanning beds and tanning in general is going to go the way of cigarettes. The British Association of Dermatologists warns that the long-term effects may include premature ageing, skin cancer and an increased risk of cataracts.
The British Medical Association has also advised people not to use sunbeds.
UV light occurs naturally in sunlight and is responsible for the tanning and burning effects of the sun. Artificial UV light is used in tanning beds and sunlamps.
I use a tanning bed and I don't think there is anything wrong with it. Yeah...it causes skin cancer, but the UV exposure is no different from tanning at the beach. Tanning in moderation is the way to go.
