I don't know what your gender is or how old you are. I assume by the fact that you asked this question in the mental health category that you are depressed.
Depression is a normal emotion (one of our six basic emotions we are born with) that can come on whenever we encounter or think about a negative situation. In this case there is nothing to worry about as it will naturally give way to more joyful feelings. It happens just as often in boys as girls.
If depression becomes chronic however it should be taken care of by consulting your family doctor who can advise you.

It honestly doesn't matter on what sex someone is. There's no real difference between the two when it comes to happiness.
People have to get out into the world and make their lives better, so they can be 'happy.'
Then can't just sit around and wait for life to be good.
