Quetiapine is used to treat the symptoms of psychotic conditions such as schizophrenia and mania associated with bipolar disorder.

I took Seroquel for schizophrenia for about a year. I got horrible night mares from it. So I had to take imipramine for the nightmares. I would advise you not to take it. It really messes you up.
Seroquel is an anti psychotic. It can also help people sleep better at night if taken before bedtime.
