Does anyone want to talk?

Question:

I am feeling really depressed and I just want to talk to someone. I can't talk to my parents because they do not understand me. We have been getting into a lot of arguments the past couple of weeks. I don't feel like leaving the house and hardly ever leave my room. I know I need help but I don't know where to turn. I just wanted to talk to someone that may understand my situation.

I have always been open with my kids and respected what they told me. It's tough to open up to anyone especially parents. My son was the most open out of my 3 kids. Today he's 28, we're like best friends. It depends on the type of parents though. And the problem. If you give it a try, the arguements may stop also. Could be the arguements are about you're unwillingness to open up and not let them know what's going on with you. Could also be they're irrational when it comes to you. Figure that out first. You're not alone. I'm sure plenty of avatars have the same problem. Good luck.
