Answers:
Well in my definition it is when you have times when you are really hyper and feeling a bit out of sorts and not being able to quiet your thoughts that seem to race through your head and then there is the depression that makes it seem very difficult to even do the simplest daily tasks. No one knows that I am bi polar until I tell them because I take seroquel and it seems to keep me very balanced and feeling well all the time.
By the way I take a very low dosage and stay away from caffiene and alcohol also and anything else that might have mind altering effects. There is hope and I found it and so can anyone else who seeks help for symptoms like these. I have been taking seroquel for many years and have not had any episodes of depression or manic states. See a doctor that specializes in these types of things if what I mentioned sounds familiar to what your feeling.
email my mom for real zayas037@aol.com, shes disabled, and clinically bipolar, and it sucks
I am bipolar. It is mixed states of alternating depression (lows) and mania (highs). I take seroquel a commonly prescribed antipsychotic for it.
i think bipolar is just an excuse for ppl that cant control their emotions the same witt a.d.d.,
I am bi-polar there are various symtoms of the illness. One is quick mood changes sometimes they can b up to days weeks or even months apart.Bi-polar is swinging from wut r called manic episodes which I have encountered all thru my life when you feel on such a natural high very wired usually leads to drug and alcohol abuse. Then on the other side the down side is depression sometimes not really depression your just so used to being on such a high that when you come down you feel very depressed. That is the best way for me to describe it to you i hope it helps.
