Is everyone a little bi-polar?
Question:
so my question is do you think that everyone is a little bi-polar?
This is just a fun question and not to offend anyone.
Answers:
Yeah, I mean the same way everybody's a little autistic, obsessive compulsive, sociopathic etc.. like you said emotions and moods can be very powerful, and to a certain extent can control you.
The major effects of Bi-Polar are treated. But yes, everyone has it. Everyone has moments when they are feeling up and then down. Its the ones that can't keep control of it, that are diagnosed with Bi-Polar.
No --getting mad on and off or staying mad or happy and stay happy is not bi- polar
Bi polar sufferers have mood changes that involve temper but they also have debilitating depression to unbridled mania. Individuals suffering from bipolar disorder typically experience fluid states of mania, hypo mania or what is referred to as a mixed state in conjunction with depressive episodes That can take a long time to come out of
yes, i think so and sometimes i think they, the doctors just want every one downed out and paying lots of money for lots of pills.
sure if everyone was sane jane all the time the world would be a boring place.
of course, we are humans! why do you think poor people living in bad neighborhoods have higher anxiety than average. is it because some anxiety disease is sweeping through the community like the bird flu? of course not, mental health disorders are just a way of people exerting more control over others, while making lots AND lots of $$$. Meds are good for short-term pain, but should never be considered a long-term solution. we are so over-medicated in our country that we don't know our right hand from our left
I think the basics of this answer would be...
SoMeone who is Bi-Polar feels just as anyone else does. However, being Bi-Polar might mean that your emotions tend to be extream and tend to happen quickly.
While any body else maybe have extrems and have rapid mood swings, its not quit so much. My friend is Bi-Polar...and she'll be manic one minute and then angry the next because someone has an opion different from her own.
Yes, everyone does have their moments, and everyone feels extrems at times. With someone who is Bi-Polar, it happens all the time. There might be few times you feel "Normal" and "content".
Does this make sense? I guess its like...To you, it may have been a stupid argument with a friend. To someone with Bi-Polar, it would be a suicide situation...((Not that everyone with Bi-Polar is the same...))((it differs between serverity and personality.))
Atleast im my experience with my friend.
No, not everyone is Bi-Polar, because if that were the case, then the name or "Mental Illness" would never be known to exist, because it would be considered normal.
That is the stupidest thing I ever heard.
Having Bipolar disorder is NOT just changing moods. The mood episodes are DRAMATIC shifts that effect thier lives. Mania can last for weeks and depression last for months. Usually people with Bipolar are hospitalized and can be out of control.
Medication can help, but it does not always prevent the occurence of an episode.
Everyone has moods and mood swings, but not everyone has the degree of mood changes that Bipolar people do.
Please educate yourself and your friend.
