Why does .Effexfor (antidepressant) give me a lame feeling when i drunk?

Question:
Ever since i took it, i dont get fun and drunk. I just get tired and fall asleep. Its not fun anymore and i dont feel even drunk really. Its lame. Why is this. Im not gonna stop drinking so dont even try

Answers:
Well, first off, it clearly states on that little pill bottle of yours that you should not drink while taking the medication. Your liver can handle a few drinks now and then, and your liver can handle prescription medication, but add them together and you're risking liver damage. Besides that, specifically, effexor has a potential side effect of drowsiness, a side effect which is greatly amplified by drinking alcohol.

Knock it off.
One, you are not supposed drink whilst taking anti-depressants.

Two, maybe your doctor gave you a supscription that would do that very thing. That way, you won't drink

I suggest you...um, this is a hard one...

DON'T DRINK.

CANCER HURTS.
Well you've answered your own question then. Drinking with drugs is a no no. But I think you already know that. You obviously don't take your health seriously so you wouldn't listen to anyone so I won't even try.
Effexor is an antidepressant , alcohol is a depressant of the central nervous system.

Simplified, they are neutralizing each other. There is more to it than that. but that is the short form.

What would be different in your life, what would you miss out on.

Are there any positives to giving up alcohol?
