Is it normal to get sudden bouts of depression, over things like not being good enough for my fiance?

Question:
Right now it's 6:30am. I can't sleep because I'm having one of those times where I think I'm not good enough for my fiance. I can't cook and his friends poke fun at me, I'm not converting to Judaism for him, I'm attractive but not drop dead gorgeous.. and I'm also very introverted (he's extroverted).

Does anyone else ever have these feelings? Is this just a stage?

Answers:
I think a lot of us have these early morn. blues, Don't think negative about yourself , we all have to learn how to cook, none of us just wake up and say I can do everything perfect. It all take a lot of practice so lighten up on yourselves . Show his friends you have a good sense of humor . Remember he loves you enjoy life and have a great day ( I just seen you smile )
Sounds like you are suffering from some kind of anxiety disorder/depression please see a doctor and talk to him/her about this.
Ok, if you weren't good enough for him he would have dumped you.
So I think I've adressed that part,
What does concern me is that his friends are making fun of you and he doesn't stand up for you ?
That's what's highly abnormal. Either the guy is a moron or the reason why he lets that happen is to boost his own self esteem "by proxy" (letting his friends belittle you).
I and every guy I know would be bewildered if their friends were trying to put down my(their) girlfriend, especially if she was introverted.
