Can psychotherapy help treat epilepsy?

Question:
I know it sounds strange but I have a genuine reason to ask. Its something said to me. I've never heard of psychotherapy ever being used to treat epilepsy - have you?

Answers:
no, epilepsy is NOT a mental illness it's an electrical faut in the brain
u can try psychotherapy but medications and routine check ups with eegs and blood test to check if enough level to treat seizures and get medications adjusted when needed it may not be a mental illness but it will make u feel depressed and alone so talken to a professional could help u accept and get through the condition even though it is all other person said its a faulty electricial with the brain
A psychiatrist heals the body,
a therapist heals the spirit.
